Ingredients
- Boneless chicken 1 cup
- Yogurt 2 tbsp
- Onions 3 tbsp finely chopped
- White pepper powder 1 tsp
- Chinese salt 1 tsp
- Mixed spices ½ tsp
- Paprika 1/2 tsp
- Sultanas soaked 1 tbsp
- Cardamom powder ½ tsp
- Rice 2 cups washed and soaked in cold water for an hour
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Oil 3 tbsp
Method
Step 1
Boil the rice in salted water. Strain and remove the starchy water. Marinate the chicken with the spices and yogurt and leave them for an hour.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken. Lower the flame and let the meat get tender and there is no water left. In wok heat oil, add in onions and fry till golden brown add in the ginger garlic paste, sultanas. Add in rice and chicken. Fry them for a few minutes. Serve hot.
Optional
Small cubes of bell pepper and slices of salad onions can be slightly fried and mixed in with rice.
