Flower cutters using plungers

1) Roll out the fondant or flower paste over a clean non stick surface. For the sugar paste not to stick to the surface either use icing sugar or corn flour. Don’t use wheat flour as it will ferment the sugar in icing.

2) Take the desired flower cutter and place it over the fondant to cut out the flower.  The fondant flower will still be attached to the cutter.

3) Place the cutter vertically on the flat surface so that the fondant flower is at the bottom.

4) Press the plunger it will emboss a pattern over the flower or slightly shaped it and will push out the cut fondant or sugar paste flower.

5) With the help of spatula lift the flower and place it over the sponge and softened the edges of the flower by using a ball tool .This can be done by gently rolling over the edges of the flower.

Now place the(fondant)  flower either over the desired decoration or in case of flower paste let it dry over the grooved sponge for an hour. The flower paste flowers will dry hard while fondant flowers will stay soft.
