Ingredients
- Chicken with skin 1 and a 1/2 kg
- salt 1 tsp
- ginger paste 1 tsp
- garlic paste 1 tbsp
- black pepper corn freshly pounded 1 tsp
- mustard 1 tsp
- fried onion paste 2 and a 1/2 tbsp
- Chinese salt 1 tsp
- Barbecue sauce 2 tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 3 tbsp
- Chilli flakes 1 tbsp
- Ketchup 2 tbsp
- Chilli sauce 1 tbsp
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Roasting bag
Method
Step 1
Marinate the chicken for half a day or more with all the above ingredients.Tie threads around the chicken to approximate the wings and legs together.Place the chicken in a roasting bag and tie a loose knot at the with small slits at one or two points . for the air to escape. Pre-heat the oven on medium for 10 minutes and place then chicken in the oven and let it cook till the chicken is tender. It takes around an hour or an and a half.
Step 2
Remove the chicken from the bag and turn the heat of the oven to maximum for 5 minutes to crisp the skin .Take it out and serve with vegetables and wedges.
