Ingredients
- ½ cup of tamarind concentrate
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- Saunth/dried ginger as per required
- ½ tsp of red chilli
- 1 tsp of mint leaves
- 1 cup of cane sugar/brown sugar
- Salt to taste
- ½ tsp of chaat masala
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- 1 tsp of ajwain /thyme seeds crushed
Method
Step 1
In a pot cook tamarind concentrate and sugar, when the mixture thickens add the remaining dry ingredients and cook for 5 minutes. Now cool it and store it in a container and use it as a dip for samosa (parcels of vegetable wrapped in filo pastry).
