Ropes

1)Take a small portion of fondant the size of a walnut from dark and light pink coloured fondants.

2) Roll them on a clean and dusted flat surface into long tubes.

3) Now wrap one fondant over the other and twist them gently.

4)Placing the inter twined fondant over the flat surface, use both hands to roll the fondant tubes but in opposite directions.(e.g.the right hand rolling the fondant tubes up whilst at exactly same time the left hand is rolling the cylindrical shaped fondant down.

In this way a rope like effect is achieved with fondants.
