Roast with vegetables

Ingredients
- Whole chicken with skin one and a half kg
- Fresh oregano 1 tbsp
- Fresh thyme 1 tsp
- Barbecue sauce 3 tbsp
- English mustard paste 1 tsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Lemon 2 tbsp
- Chilli flakes 2 tsp
- Tomato ketchup 3 tbsp
- Garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Butter 3 tbsp
- Black pepper corn 1 tsp freshly grounded
- Chilli sauce 1 tsp
- For vegetables:-
- Sweetcorns 1/2 cup
- Button mushrooms 1/2 cup
- Broccoli 1/2 cup
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Carrots 1/2 cup
- One onion cut into cubes
- Tomatoes 3 skinned and peeled
Method
Step 1
For Chicken:- Marinate the chicken for around 6-8 hrs .Tie string around the chicken to keep it intact. Place the chicken in a roasting bag and tie a loose knot to seal it.Make two three holes in the bag for the air to escape.
Step 2
Pre-heat heat the oven for 10- 15 minutes.Then place the roasting bag enclosing the chicken in the oven on medium heat for an hour or till the chicken is cooked.
Step 3
For vegetables:- Steam the vegetables for 3 minutes and then remove them.Take a pan place a knob of butter and fry the vegetables for 2 minutes.Serve with the roasted chicken and potato wedges or chips.
