Ingredients

  • Ingredients for marinating:-
  • Chicken wings or drumsticks with skin one kilo
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • White pepper1/2tsp
  • Flavour enhancer/Chinese salt 1 tsp
  • Mustard paste 1tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp
  • 1/4 cup of whole milk or butter milk
  • Ingredients for batter:-
  • White flour ½ cup
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Whisked egg 1
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Paprika or red pepper1 /2 tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • White pepper ¼ tsp
  • For coating:-
  • Cornflakes crushed ¼ cup
  • Crisps crushed ¼ cup
  • Bread crumbs ¼ cup
  • Oil for deep frying

Method

Step 1

Let the chicken wings marinate for an hour .Make the batter by mixing egg, flour, corn flour, baking powder. Now first coat the chicken in batter and then crumb coat it in the crumb coat mixture. Heat oil a pan on medium heat and fry the wings till golden brown. Serve hot with your favourite sauce.

Step 2

Optional:- Instead of chicken wings big chunks of chicken with skin can be used instead. But after marinating the big chunks of chicken. These big pieces should also be steamed for 20 minutes.
